Steps in modifying field types of AccessBean for a custom table in Websphere Commerce.



Step 1: First modify the table columns for the new types.
Step 2: Modify the bean class based on the new type.
Step 3: Next Modify data definition: WebSphereCommerceServerExtensionsData > ejbModule > META-INF > backends > {databaseType} > MALL_NULLID_{tableName}.tblxmi. Modify the column type from table definition.
Step 4: Do EJB to RDB mapping once again with the new type that will update the Map.mapxmi file.
(WebSphereCommerceServerExtensionsData > ejbModule > META-INF > backends > {databaseType} > Map.mapxmi .)
Step 5:Please remove the generated classes which are showing compilation errors.Deploy the EJB Project (WebSphereCommerceServerExtensionsData Project).
Step 6: Build the WebSphereCommerceServerExtensionsData Project.
Step 7: Right EJB Project and Regenerate Access Bean.
